About Us

How We Started

They say necessity is the mother of invention, well that could not be more true for us! Back in 2012 our founder, Dr. Griffin and her husband were dissatisfied with their marriage. They knew something was wrong, but they didn’t know how to fix it. Something had to change, but what? That same year, Dr. G’s husband was a part of a fantasy football league. One Sunday as he sat on the couch with his laptop open, the remote in one hand and his cell phone in the other, passionately screaming at Tom Brady and talking trash to his friends on speaker phone, it dawned on Dr. G that they needed to change their perspective!

They needed to see themselves as teammates and not rivals. They needed to view their challenges as opportunities for growth. They needed a better understanding of one another and a greater appreciation for their individual and collective strengths. They needed to work together to get back to a place of mutual satisfaction and enjoyment. They needed to develop their communication and problem-solving skills. They needed a plan and a strategy to help them get there. They needed guidance and support to make sure they could maintain their progress. What they needed was Marriage Champs!

Their relationships are not perfect; they learn from their mistakes. They do not quit in the face of adversity; they dig deep and rise to the occasion. They absolutely cannot fail; they only know how to win. They are stronger and better together. They are MARRIAGE CHAMPS!

Coaches we help our clients develop skills in five (5) core areas

Our Framework

Like traditional sports performance coaches we help our clients develop skills in five (5) core areas. Our focus happens to be spiritual growth, passion, intimacy, teamwork and commitment as opposed to strength, agility, flexibility, coordination and speed. We develop our skills through interactive drills and provide opportunities for clients to surround themselves with like-minded couples for accountability and support. Fun is an absolute must and a little friendly competition makes us who we are!
